SLP/Clinic Director – SIGN ON BONUS!
Reading Write Alaska is currently seeking an Alaska licensed Speech and Language Pathologist/Clinical Supervisor. As the lead SLP and Clinic Director, you will have the opportunity to provide clinical supervision and support to our dynamic team of clinicians in our Wasilla Location. This is perfect for someone looking to move into a management role.

Provide diagnostic and treatment services including the initial evaluation, determination of the treatment program, and implementation of the treatment program to children ages 3-18 with a variety of speech, language, and learning needs.
Provide clinical consultation to licensed SLP staff and clinical supervision to Clinical Fellows and SLPAs as needed.
Oversee the maintenance of the clinical records in accordance with the clinic’s policy and procedure manuals.
Verify HIPAA and Medicaid compliance documentation is completed.
Marketing and public relations with emphasis in outreach in the community, schools, preschools and develop programs for department.
Serve as a direct contact between the families, the community, and the clinic.
Manage schedules, oversee day-to-day operations, train new staff and supervise Clinical Fellows and SLPAs.
Qualifications
Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology.
Alaska License in Speech-Language Pathology from Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Examining Committee and from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association
Minimum of three years of clinical experience with children and adolescents; previous work with clients with dyslexia a plus but not required.
Prior supervision experience strongly desired.
Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
Team oriented, flexible and great verbal and written communication skills.
Positive attitude, high attention to detail, and self-starter.
